:Update from Bob Laird Hi all, keeping you up to date on the trains issue. We have not had a response from Irish Rail on the request for a meeting. However, before we ever got to the public consultation, I had briefed Brendan Ryan T.D. on my views on DART to Balbriggan, and also on deficiencies in our train service.
Irish Rail’s proposed changes to the commuter train timetable Irish Rail were engaged in a consultation process concerning their proposed changes up to last week. We are working closely with Bob Laird in this regard, who is a member on Fingal County Council’s Strategic Policy Committee for Transport and who went through the proposals with a fine-toothed comb.
