CHRISTMAS LIGHTS APPEAL!
It’s that time of year when the Christmas Lights Committee is gearing up for another great event to light our town for Christmas.
In 2015 the cost to connect and maintain these lights (for 6 weeks) was €6,000.
€2160.92 was donated by local business
€1219.00 was donated from collection boxes throughout the town
€1000.00 was raised from the Wine tasting evening
The remainder was made up from the float left over from 2014
To host an even better event again, we are once again asking for your help in sponsoring a tree crown or crowns @ €100 each. Without your support it will not be possible to bring the magic of Christmas to Rush again in 2016!
