Fingal Community Facilities Network launch new website

Fingal Community Facilities Network (FCFN) have launched a new website, showcasing the network’s 31 community facilities.

The project, supported by Fingal County Council (FCC)’s Community Development Office, features pages on each community facility (including Rush Multipurpose Youth Facility).

Each page on the new website shows up-to-date information on the facilities, including current events, classes and services; spaces available for hire; photographs; and contact information. Information is updated weekly.

FCFN was established by the FCC’s Community Development Office in 2017 to provide a forum for discussion, training and collaboration between facilities and their communities.

Linda Ennis, Principal Community Development Officer commented on the launch: “This website is the result of four years of successful collaboration between our office’s Community Facilities Management Support Unit and the [FCFN]. The website was developed by a working group comprising of representatives of the network and the Community Development Office.”

She added: “Together with the web designers Neo-Archaic they have produced a website which will be an extremely useful and accessible tool for any member of the community to see what services are available to them at their nearest community centre.”
