Childrens’ Summer Events:

  • Caring for your Dog with Fiona from Dogs Trust for children aged 6 to 12 years. Takes place on Wednesday 12th August at 3pm. Booking necessary at 8708414
  • Story-Telling with Alma Jordan for children aged 4 to 10 Years. Hear stories about life on the farm. Takes place on Friday 14th August at 2.30pm. Booking at 8708414
  • Interactive Story-Telling with Rod Smith for children up to 12 years of age.  Rod is the author of ‘Get out and Play G.A.A.’ and ‘Get out and Play Football’. The event takes place on Thursday 20th August at 11am. Booking at 8708414
  • Heritage Week Workshop for children aged 7 to 12 Years: ‘Natural Heritage:Biodiversity in the City. Takes place on Tuesday 25th August at 11am to 12.30pm. Booking at 8708414

 

Heritage Week Talk for Adults: “Blooming Rush – 1895”: A Talk by Berni Carty of Loughshinny & Rush Historical Society on the Bulb-Growing experiment by Englishman, James Robertson. Takes place on Monday 24th August at 6.30pm. Booking at 8708414

 

Adult Book-Club meets on the first Friday of each month at 11am. They are scheduled to meet on Friday 7th August at 11am.

 

The Cake & Bake Club with Anne Carter meets on the first Tuesday of each month at 2pm. and is on a summer break until September. This is a social club to exchange tips and ideas on baking and with occasional outings. Booking at: 8708414

 

‘Make Your Own Greeting Cards’: The Card Craft Group for adults takes place each Monday from 1.30pm to 3.30pm. This Group is on a summer break until September.
