This is your chance to make your views known – Drumanagh

Remember this is now taking place on Wednesday 7th March 2018 from 4pm to 8pm in Rush Community Centre.

Draft Conservation and Management Plan
Fingal County Council is seeking your views in relation to the Draft Conservation and Management Plan for the Drumanagh promontory fort, located between Rush and Loughshinny.

This historic site was previously in private ownership before Fingal purchased it in 2016. Drumanagh is a 46-acre site, which is also a National Monument subject to statutory protection and of great international importance.

This is a great opportunity for tourism and recreation and it’s a really beautiful site that you can visit even now. It will become a major new open space for Rush and Fingal and form part of the Fingal Coastal Way used by the community and visitors to Fingal.

Fingal County Council is now seeking the views of organisations and individuals with an interest in Drumanagh in relation to the Draft Conservation and Management Plan.
Submissions can be made online at until March 5.
A public information ‘drop-in’ session will also be held on Wednesday, 7th march in Rush Community Centre, Upper Main Street, Rush, from 4pm to 8pm. Council staff will be available to answer questions and take feedback in relation to the Draft Conservation and Management Plan.

A copy of the plan is available here…/DRAFT_Drumanagh_Conservation%26… or at council offices and local libraries during the consultation period
