Tourism in Rush

Rush Tourism, in partnership with Fingal County Council and Rush Community Council, have identified some of the key heritage sites around the village.

The signs help to preserve the wonderful history and heritage of the village.

The heritage signs follow a trail around the village, starting at Echlin Court, heading towards the Anchor in the Square, passing by the oldest harbour in Fingal (built by the Duke of Ormond) and continue on past fields of crops ready to be picked by Tayleur’s Point.

Walk along the South Shore Road to Rogerstown, taking in our second harbour and Rogerstown Estuary, follow the Channel Road to the Millbank (which is part of our Cultural Quarter with the Millbank Theatre and Rush Library).

Two majestic lions sit at the front of Kenure Gate.
